Android Player Controls Not Visible or Not Working in EasyReader
Issue with Media Controls on Newer Android Versions
Overview
Some users may experience missing or unresponsive audio player controls when using the EasyReader app on Android devices. This behaviour is a known issue and is linked to changes introduced in newer versions of the Android operating system.
Cause
Recent Android updates include modifications to the native media player framework. These changes affect how EasyReader interacts with the system’s media controls, resulting in the playback buttons not appearing or not functioning as expected.
Status
Our development team is actively working on an update to restore full compatibility with the latest Android media player components. This fix is planned for a future release of the EasyReader app.

Workaround
At this time, there is no reliable workaround within the app. Users may find that restarting the app or device temporarily improves behaviour, but this is not guaranteed.
We appreciate your patience while we implement a permanent solution.
