I am unable to access books from RNIB Reading Services with Guide Connect

Updates to the RNIB library backend have caused issues for third party devices and software accessing content.

Guide Connect users need to logout from the RNIB library and then log back in to recover access to RNIB Reading Services.

  1. To do this you will need to perform the following steps:
  2. Open Books and News
  3. Select Books
  4. Select 'Find  a new book'
  5. Navigate to the RNIB Reading Services library and select F2 to open the actions menu.
  6. Select Log out
  7. Then select RNIB Reading services and follow the log in prompts to re-log yourself back in.
