This article explains how to disable the AI-related features in SuperNova version 24.05 and later (for example, image and product-usage question answering).
Although Dolphin does not store text or image data sent to our AI server, some organisations and users may prefer to disable all AI-related features so that no text or image data ever leaves their premises.
To do this:
-
In Windows File Explorer, navigate to the SuperNova installation folder on your PC. By default this is:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Dolphin\Snova{Edition}{VersionNumber}
For example:C:\Program Files (x86)\Dolphin\SnovaSuite2404
-
In that folder, run
enterpriseconfig.exe
. -
In the SuperNova Enterprise Configuration window, in the Features tab, tick Disable Ask AI, and then select OK.
If SuperNova is currently running, close it and restart it for the changes to take effect.
All changes made in the SuperNova Enterprise Configuration utility are stored in the Windows Registry at:HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Dolphin\{SuperNovaEdition}{VersionNumber}\Config
You can export and deploy this registry key as part of your SuperNova packaging, if required.
Dolphin uses OpenAI's Business API for image analysis and in-product help question answering. OpenAI's Business API does not store any data for training purposes or service improvements. See https://openai.com/consumer-privacy/ for further information.
