How do I restore my preferred voice setting in SuperNova after it suddenly changed?

Your voice in SuperNova may change unexpectedly due to software updates, incorrect configuration, or, in rare cases, a speech engine crash. You can find instructions on how to restore your preferred voice below.

Synthesiser Configuration:

  1. Open the Dolphin product control panel (LEFT CONTROL + SPACE BAR).
  2. Open the Speech menu (ALT + S).
  3. Open Voice Preferences (P).
  4. Choose the Synthesiser Configuration property sheet (CONTROL + TAB).
  5. Open Select Synthesiser (Y).
  6. Choose your preferred synthesiser from the list and confirm your selection (ENTER).

Voice and Language Configuration:

  1. Open the Dolphin product control panel (LEFT CONTROL + SPACE BAR).
  2. Open the Speech menu (ALT + S).
  3. Open Voice Preferences (P).
  4. Choose the Voice and Language Configuration property sheet (CONTROL + TAB).
  5.  Navigate to either Language or Voice, depending on which setting you want to change (TAB).
  6. Select your preferred voice (LEFT and RIGHT ARROW KEYS)
