iPhone Guidemail setup
In order to set up your Guidemail on your iPhone, please follow these steps:
1. Open the 'Settings' app
2. Choose 'Mail'
3. Choose 'Accounts'
4. Choose 'Add Account'
5. Choose 'Other'
6. Choose 'Add Mail Account'
7. Complete the fields below with your own information:
Name: Your name
Email: (your email)@guidemail.co.uk
Password: Your password
8. Choose 'Next', then 'POP'
9. Complete the fields with the information listed below:
Incoming mail server
Host Name: pop3.guidemail.co.uk
Username: (your email)@guidemail.co.uk
Password: (your password)
Outgoing mail server
Host Name: smtp.guidemail.co.uk
Username: (your email)@guidemail.co.uk
Password: (your password)
10. Choose 'SMTP', followed by 'smtp.guidemail.co.uk'
11. Complete the fields with the information listed below:
Use SSL: No
Authentication: Password
Server Port: 25
12. Choose 'Advanced'
13. Complete the fields with the information listed below:
Use SSL: No
Authentication: Password
Server Port: 110
14. Choose 'Done' to finish the setup
Android Guidemail setup
In order to set up your Guidemail on your Android device, please follow these steps (Gmail mail app used in example, steps may vary based on app used):
1. Open the 'Gmail' app
2. Choose 'Add another account'
3. Choose 'Other'
4. Enter your email address
5. Choose 'Next'
6. Choose 'POP3'
7. Enter your password
8. Choose 'Next'
9. Choose 'Edit settings'
10. Complete the fields with the information listed below:
Server: pop3.guidemail.co.uk
Port: 110
Security type: None
11. Choose 'Next', then 'Next' again
12. Choose 'Edit settings'
13. Complete the fields with the information listed below:
SMTP server: smtp.guidemail.co.uk
Port: 25
Security type: None
14. Choose 'Next' to finish the setup
Outlook365 Guidemail setup
In order to set up your Guidemail in your Desktop Outlook365 client, please follow these steps:
1. Open 'Outlook'
2. Choose 'File'
3. Choose 'Account Settings'
4. Choose 'Account Settings...'
5. Choose 'New'
6. Enter your email address
7. Choose 'Advanced options'
8. Check the box for 'Let me set up my account manually'
9. Choose 'Connect' followed by 'POP'
10. Enter your password, followed by choosing 'Connect'
11. Complete the fields with the information listed below:
Incoming mail
Host Name: pop3.guidemail.co.uk
Port: 110
Outgoing mail
Server: smtp.guidemail.co.uk
Port: 25
Encryption method: Auto
12. Choose 'Next'
13. Choose 'Done' to finish the setup
