      Signal for Windows presents an all-black screen with SuperNova / ScreenReader running

      When SuperNova is running, Signal for Windows is presented as an all-black window with no discernible content due to a Signal setting

      The setting 'Screen security' in Signal for Windows prevents SuperNova from displaying the contents of the app within the Magnification view window. Please follow the steps below to disable this functionality within Signal for Windows:

      1. In Signal for Windows, select 'Preferences'

      2. Select 'Privacy'

      3. Uncheck the checkbox 'Screen security'

      After this, the contents of the app will be presented correctly within SuperNova's magnification view window.
