A recent Edge update has introduced compatibility issues with SuperNova, causing SuperNova / ScreenReader to close unexpectedly
A compatibility issue has been identified between Microsoft Edge's update 140.0.3485.66 and SuperNova / ScreenReader. Some users have reported experiencing SuperNova / ScreenReader closing unexpectedly while using Microsoft Edge. This issue occurs after navigating through certain items in Edge's main toolbar (such as the Favourites and Settings drop-down menus).
If you would like to reference this issue, it has been logged in our internal bug reporting system as OT#49918
Our development team have replicated the issue, and the fix will be released in the next update. In the meantime, please refer to the workarounds listed below:
Workaround 1: Use an alternative web browser until the fix has been implemented
This issue is limited to Microsoft Edge. Until a resolution is implemented, we recommend using an alternative web browser, such as Chrome or Firefox.
Workaround 2: Roll back Edge to a previous build
If you are unable to use an alternative web browser, you can roll back your Edge version/build to a previous one where the issue was not present.
