      After a Windows 11 update SuperNova/ScreenReader does not announce task switching correctly

      After a Windows 11 24H2 update SuperNova Magnifier & ScreenReader and ScreenReader users may encounter issues where Task Switching is read incorrectly.

      SuperNova Magnifier & ScreenReader and ScreenReader users may find issues with the announcement of the Windows Task Switching Functionality (ALT + TAB) after updating Windows 11 with cumulative update KB5046617. This a long term fix for issue is currently being investigated by the Dolphin developer team.

      Current Workarounds:

      • Uninstall KB5046617.
      • Use the alternative Shortcut WINDOWS + TAB which provides the same functionality as Task Switching.
