For the best magnification performance, some users may need to manually switch to the Windows Graphics Capture Magnification System after updating to 24.01 if they have previously switched to the Alternative Magnification System
After installing 24.01 on Windows 11 machines, the new Magnification System (Windows Graphics Capture) should automatically be selected. However, if you previously used the workaround of switching to the Alternative Magnification System to resolve the 'Magnification error code 7' issue on 23.04 (referenced in the following Knowledgebase article: https://kb.yourdolphin.com/knowledge/magnification-error-code-7-24h2), you will have to manually switch your Magnification System to the Windows Graphics Capture mode after installing the update.
How do I switch to the Windows Capture Magnification System?
- Open the SuperNova Control panel (LEFT CTRL + SPACEBAR)
- Open the General drop-down menu and select 'Advanced Options' (ALT + G, A)
- Open the Magnification Engine Settings menu (TAB + ENTER)
- Select Windows Graphics Capture from the Magnification System area and then close the window by selecting 'OK'
