Conversion fails with error: The idispatch interface could not be retrieved

When attempting to convert an input document in EasyConverter, the above error message is displayed

This can occur if EasyConverter and Microsoft Office are having problems reading from the original source document.

To resolve the issue, move or copy the input document to another location, the Windows Desktop for example.
