Cisco Webex can crash 1-3 minutes into a call when running SuperNova / ScreenReader 22.04 and below
A fix for this issue has been implemented in SuperNova / ScreenReader 23.01, please update to the latest version if not done so already.
If you are using SuperNova / ScreenReader 22.04 or below
If your Cisco Webex client is crashing after a call reaches 1-3 minutes in duration, it may be necessary to associate Cisco Webex with a different application map.
In order to apply this fix, please do the following:
1. Ensure both Webex and SuperNova / ScreenReader are open
2. Select Webex
3. Select the SuperNova / ScreenReader Control Panel (Ctrl + Space)
4. Select the 'File' menu (Alt + F)
5. Select 'Edit' (E)
6. Select 'Map' (M)
7. From the drop down list box, select 'No MSAA No UIA V1'
8. Select 'Properties...'
9. Select 'Add application...'
10. Use the drop down list box to select 'ciscocollabhost.exe'
11. Select 'OK'
12. Select 'OK'
13. Select 'Close'
