Font Smoothing does not appear as clear and smooth in Microsoft Office applications.

Magnified text in Microsoft Word, Outlook and other Office apps does not appear as smooth as in other applications.

Dolphin is currently investigating an issue whereby our True Font technology is unable to render fonts in Microsoft Office as well as it can in some other apps. Because of this, SuperNova reverts back to the older "Standard” font smoothing technology.

At the present time the only workaround is too roll back the build of Microsoft Office. To do this:

1. Uninstall Office 365, then download and reinstall.
2. Open a Command Prompt (WINDOWS Key + R, then type CMD and press ENTER).
3. Copy and paste the following commands pressing ENTER after each one:

CD %programfiles%\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\ClickToRun

OfficeC2RClient.exe /changesetting Channel=Broad

OfficeC2RClient.exe /update user

OfficeC2RClient.exe /update user updatetoversion=16.0.13929.20408

OfficeC2RClient.exe /update user

As soon as a solution from Dolphin is available, we will update this article.
