Problems typing text into search field in the Google search engine using Chrome.

When you attempt to enter text in the Search box in Google, the Dolphin Cursor is initiated unexpectedly and you are unable to type.

Dolphin is aware of this issue and is actively investigating it..

In the meantime, there are two possible workarounds:

  1. Toggle the Automatic Dolphin Cursor off just before you start typing in the search field by pressing LEFT CTRL + 4, then after you have entered your search and the results page loads, toggle the Automatic Dolphin Cursor on again with the same key press.
  2. Instead of performing the search in the main Google search field, enter your search term into the Google Chrome address bar. This will show the same Google results page.

Once a permanent fix is available, we will update this article.
