Microsoft are starting to roll out a free App called 'Outlook for Windows', this is a replacement for Windows Mail
We are currently working on a Map and Script to provide support for the 'Outlook for Windows' App.
We would recommend that while we work on the map and script, and while Microsoft work on improving the general accessibility of the App that you keep using your current email client.
The following accessibility issues have been identified in the App and need to be addressed by an App update:
- Limited keyboard access to the main calendar view.
- No way to identify the sort order of emails in the Inbox.
- Navigating issues in the Contact list with the focus to moving to the contact card with every new item selection.
- Tabbing takes you through the interface and loops back to start. Shift + Tab gets stuck at top element.
