Each time you restart your computer, SuperNova asks to be activated again, and will continue to do so even if you choose to reactivate.
This may occur if your computer has one or more virtual network adapters installed. It is sometimes the case that the hardware ID of these virtual devices changes on each restart of windows which results in SuperNova detecting a hardware change.
To stop this happening, disable the virtual network adapters. To do this:
- Press WINDOWS KEY + R to open the “Run…” dialog box.
- Type devmgmt.msc to open Device Manager
- In the Device Manager window, expand the “Network Adapters” branch.
- RIGHT CLICK on any items containing the word “virtual” for example “Microsoft WIFI Direct Virtual Adapter” and choose “Disable”.
If there aren’t any items with virtual” in the name, take the following steps:
- Press WINDOWS KEY + R to open the “Run…” dialog box.
- Choose “Control Panel”.
- Choose “Network and Internet”.
- On the left-side, choose “Change adapter settings”.
- RIGHT CLICK on the name of the virtual adapter, then choose “Disable”.
The problem should now be resolved. If this issue persists, please contact support@yourdolphin.com.
