Microsoft have released an update to Windows 10 in KB5044273 that has introduced this error with SuperNova.
The error messages "Unable to access SAM. This product requires SAM to be installed for speech and braille output. Check that SAM is installed and run if it is." and "Error creating file mapping object mapping" can be observed after running windows cumulative update KB5044273 in Windows 10 for builds 19044.5011 and 19045.5011 when opening SuperNova on a limited user account (accounts with administrator permissions will not display this error).
Resolutions to this issue:
Microsoft have identified the cause of this issue was due to wrong integrity levels being assigned with apps running with the attribute UIAccess=True. Microsoft have since deployed a fixes for this via Known Issue Rollback (KIR) or by updating with KB 5045594.
