If you lose your WiFi connection, some network settings in GuideConnect might not be visible, which could prevent you from accessing your WiFi.
This issue occurs due to some privacy settings being hidden from GuideConnect which means that WiFi settings are not visible when attempting to configure your network from within GuideConnect.
To resolve this issue you will need to connect your WiFi through Windows.
While in Windows you can also allow some privacy settings that means should you lose access to your WiFi again you can connect within GuideConnect by following the steps below:
- Open the Start menu by clicking the Windows icon on your screen or pressing the Windows button on your keyboard.
- Search for "Settings" or navigate to the Settings option (it looks like a cog icon), then select it.
- In the Settings menu, go to "Privacy & security" and then "Location".
- In the Location menu, turn on these options: "Location Services", "Let apps access your location", and "Let desktop apps access your location". Make sure you see Dolphin GuideConnect listed under one of these subheadings.
- Once you've done this, it's a good idea to restart your computer to make sure the changes take effect.
